two posts in one day, whodathunk?

of course, being that this is my life, it is finals week. and I'm not quite me. I can't very well say to my professors that "oops, I turned into a guy, lemme take the tests anyways."

so. I'm missing finals. Which means I've most likely just failed two classes. Jean? You wanna be all doctory and send my professors notes saying I'm on my deathbed and let me make up the tests later?

I think now would be a good time to check the status of the application I sent in to NYU for a transfer...

retail therapy does not make failing classes any easier. although I do look snazzy now.

No mocking the spot diagnosis, it's a fully accurate discription of the symptoms.

Did you let your certification lapse fully or can you simply do a renewal without the exam?

I am an EMT. we live to mock diagnosis'.

I need to retest in the next month. I was planning on waiting until after finals anyways, so this isn't a problem. I figure keeping it up would be a good thing given our extra activities. And maybe, if I'm completely insane and want to kill myself, I'll work on my EMT-I certs.

And I can't even give you the really icky jobs we used to foist off on interns at John Hopkins. Alas.

It's possibly completely insane, but it would also be very, very helpful.

okay. I've already signed up for my refresher class and test.

well hell. unsurprisingly, I need more ambulance time to move up in rank. something's gotta give somewhere, I'll figure it out when I have more time to seriously devote to things.

Yes, definitely don't push too hard. Even just keeping the certification you're at now will be better than nothing.
