I'm not turning on the news today. Golden Girls MARATHON and knitting! Who wants to learn?

Yeah, staying in and avoiding the news sounds like a good idea - New York's been kind of weird all day. Not a good day to be a visible mutant in Manhattan. And tomorrow with all the memorials and public marches and stuff planned, things are going to be even more tense.

I'm not so much a knitter, but I can come by the mansion and keep you company, maybe with some Brit TV on DVD? New York's so jittery I can't really focus on anything here.

I can teach you, if you want. I've got plenty of yarn and needles. Anyone can make a scarf. Or a pot-holder for the less ambitious.
