y'know, I thought we weren't tabloid fodder now that Alison went to the west coast.

but then, I suppose that foreign royalty in mutant night clubs is SO much jucier than Alison getting her hair cut.

Well, as long as people are entertained by seeing pictures of royalty or other famous individuals living their lives, then those items will continue to make the tabloids. At least the picture showed my hair in it's best light.

The photographer sucked. They didn't get a shot of my face at all.

well, it's not every day I see someone I know in the mags when I'm buying soda and toothpaste.

I bought it, want me to give it to you?

Date: 2006-09-16 11:42 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com
who are you again?

oh that's right...NOT royalty!

Date: 2006-09-16 11:43 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] x-pressive.livejournal.com
But I was dancing with royalty? Don't the People want to know who's the lucky man?

No thank you, I have seen it plenty. You may destroy it, as every copy of that silly magazine should be destroyed.

Date: 2006-09-16 11:45 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com
obviously not.

did you get lucky?

Date: 2006-09-16 11:45 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com
oh no, I've pinned it to the wall by my bed!

so now I can be all "I know royalty!" not that anyone cares.

That's hardly an appropriate question for this forum! Or so my Post It tells me.

...your post it lies.

She's just a lady, Clarice, remember? Crystal told us all very sternly! *g*

Though that does make me wonder why Moira never ends up in the tabloids. Nathan, your wife is failing in her scandal causing duties!

of course she is a lady. but that is more than us peons. remember, Terry, Americans have been obsessed with royalty or making our own wannabe-royalty ever since we kicked the brits out in the first place!

No one cares about middle-aged geneticists, even if they are royalty. although Rachel should have been in them by now "super cute floating baby!"

You might be a peon. I'm certainly not.

And I think Scottish "royalty" is mostly just traditional and in-name-only, isn't it?

Date: 2006-09-17 12:45 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com
figuratively. I don't have "lady" or anything in front of my name! and neither do you ;)

I dunno. my family is mostly Irish.

My people don't use titles.

Date: 2006-09-17 01:15 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] x-mirage.livejournal.com
certainly we do! "uncle" and "aunt" and "grandfather" and "grandmother" or "elder", they do not show royalty, they show wisdom.

My people, meaning 'mutants', not 'Cheyenne'.

Why do you fight yourself so, Hahkota?

Watch who you're calling a peon, Yank.

I don't know about you, but I'm a pretty, pretty princess.

No, really, I even have a shirt that says that.

Date: 2006-09-17 09:47 am (UTC)From: [identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com

I used to have a shirt that said "I'm the princess and you're a toad" but it died a wonderfully worn death.

and we're American, by definition, we're not REALLY peons.
