I hate being the purple sheep of the family. it wouldn't be so bad if my stepsisters weren't wannabe-MODELS or going to a pagent this weekend.

I'm sewing myself a new bathingsuit to pass the time. it's not going so well. bathing suits are HARD to make. so far I've managed to get it cut out properly and one side sewn. I'm debating sewing the other side or to try a leg hole.

oh...and if my suit actually gets made, it will be plain black.

I'll be back late Monday, I can't wait.

You've got the inducer, havne't you? Why not go out and do your own thing whilst the barbie dolls are off doing their thing. Any old school mates around?

my "schoolmates" are most likely in juvie. I didn't hang with the most respectable of people. wait a minute...I STILL don't! ;) j/k!

I've been hanging at the craft store, that keeps me out of trouble for hours. and it's kinda nice to have the barbies run to me when their buttons fall off. yes, I am this pathetic sometimes.

Would it be too underhanded and wrong to suggest that your parents meet some of your more "respectable" schoolmates?

After all, perception is ninety percent of reality.

But Amanda, you are an esoteric student of ancient history and lost cultures. You memorize dead languages and old ways so that they are not lost to the annals of time.

I can make -anything- sound pretentious and respectable.

That was a demonstration of the subtle humor in the classic American cinematic drama "Good Morning, Vietnam."

. . . You're good.

Doug stealing all my clothes, sheets, and towels, and making me run through the halls nearly naked looking for my emergency pants in the laundry room.

Adolecent and young teenaged girls expressing their desire to be seen as mature attractive adult women by mimicking an icon that has been artifically pushed to them as popular and socially acceptable.
