Three, actually. They seem a fun bunch.

oooh....nifty!

THREE? are we being good or something?

That'd be me and the twins -- I'm Shan, and they're Leong and Nga. :) Are you really as purple as your picture? If so, expect child-sized limpets soon. ;)

I am. heh, I'm the Purple Pixie :)

'cept no wings. teleportation instead.

Purple Pixie, huh? That's cute. The kids love bright-coloured skin -- I had a friend in New Haven whose skin changed with her emotions, and they loved her to death. ;) And a teleporter! Wow! Long- or short-distance?

her skin changed like a chameleon? wow...I'd...hate that, I think. Or love it, I can't decide.

um...what do you define as "long" and "short"?

my longest distance so far was from here to Ithaca, NY. my mom's house :)

It was really beautiful, actually. One of my favourite people there, too.

Sounds like long-distance to me, though I'm no specialist. :) Lucky you -- I know of courier companies who are paying teleporters exorbitant amounts of money these days.

That's very interesting.

I'd like to meet this person.

Empathy of any stripe is rare.

Oh, they'll love Miles, then, not that they wouldn't anyway. And Mr. Wagner.

I do. :) Oh! Not mine by birth, no. Well, they're my little brother and sister, but I sign for field trips, so I think it counts. ;)

Oh. I was going to say, I did not think you looked old enough to have twins of your own by birth.

Well, I won't say anything except that sure earned you a whole lot of points. ;)

I may need them. I have to admit I am really terrible with turning in library books on time.

.. Actually, I have a lot of problems in general with time. It is a failing of mine.

Which reminds me. I am Marie-Ange Colbert, or Angie if you prefer. I am the tallish red-head who was throwing socks at the blond with the glasses.

That's okay -- now I know where to find you, after all. ;)

Very nice to meet you, Marie-Ange. Socks, huh? Why socks?

Because they hurt less when Doug throws them back at me. His aim is not necessarily better than mine, but he usually manages to figure out what direction I am going to dodge in.

I must warn you, Doug is a bibliovore. I think he consumes books rather than reads them. It is the only want to explain how he goes through so many.
