my mom accepted the HeliX banquet invite as a "peace offering" once I said she could bring her boytoy.

I forgot to mention I'd also invited my dad and stopmonster. oops.

and in happier news, my hello kitty slipper-socks and hello kitty flannel have come in. Now...to see about measuring for footies!

Yes, I did it partly to make my mom not be mad at me (even if I am mad at her) and partly because damnnit, it's time they realized I am growing up! I could go see them a lot more than I do because y'know, TPTB say "don't go off teleporting places at random". Not that this stops Illyana, but that's not my problem.

I don't think they'll do anything, I swear. Like I said to Terry above, usually they just glare and ignore each other or make veiled insults. And if there are a lot of people, it won't matter because they won't even have to be near each other.
