aka 10 things I've learned about stuff

1. purple is beautiful. or, lacking that, at least distinctive.
2. while hiding under the bed is one response to danger, knowing you can face it and at least not get yourself killed is priceless, even if you are still scared shitless.
3. saying "fuck" every other word does not make anyone think I'm badass, just stupid. even if it is still a fun word.
4. glitter and sewing is nice, but blood and guts means a future.
5. I am pretty.
6. boys are weird.
7. fencing is still majorly important, but akido is more useful in a fight.
8. not everyone is going to like me...and that's okay.
9. family is who you choose and who choose you, not always blood relations.
10. plaid bondage pants will always be cool.
