This is what I get for being arms deep in medical stuff while people lose their minds on the journal system. I'm only a few comments in and someone already used flatscan.

Depends on who you ask. I've seen the cut off date for Gen-X as 1980, 1982, or 1984, though generally 1980.

Gen-Y or Millennials (the terms are often used interchangeably though according to the Atlantic Gen-Y is 'Made up') tend to start around 1980 or 1982 and run until 2004.
